bring significant changes to the Global Talent visa.<\/p>\n\n<p>These changes are particularly notable in three areas:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The addition of the<strong> Design Industry field<\/strong> to the Global Talent route<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The<strong> increased English language requirement <\/strong>for settlement applications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A clearer definition of the nature of the research role<\/strong> in academic fast-track applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>These regulations demonstrate that the UK is<strong> strengthening its strategy to attract international talent in both the creative industries and academic research fields.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"global-talent-vizesine-yeni-alan-design-industry\">New field for the Global Talent visa: Design Industry<\/h2>\n\n<p>Under the new regulations, a new endorsement field called <strong>Design Industry<\/strong> is being added to the Global Talent visa.<\/p>\n\n<p>This change will <strong>come into effect on 1 July 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>From this date onwards, <strong>a new Global Talent application route will be opened <\/strong>for professionals working in the field of design.<\/p>\n\n<p>Thus, the Global Talent route will no longer be limited to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>science and academia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>digital technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>arts and culture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>fields.<\/p>\n\n<p>Professionals who have made an international impact in the fields of industrial design and creative design will also be able to apply through this route.<\/p>\n\n<p>This change is seen as a strategic step by the UK to attract talent in the <strong>design economy<\/strong> and creative industries.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"design-industry-basvurularinda-degerlendirme-kategorileri\">Assessment categories for Design Industry applications<\/h2>\n\n<p><br\/>Applications under the Design pathway will be assessed under two categories:<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"exceptional-talent\">Exceptional Talent<\/h3>\n\n<p>Design professionals recognised internationally in their field.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"exceptional-promise\">Exceptional Promise<\/h3>\n\n<p>Designers in the early stages of their career but showing strong potential.<\/p>\n\n<p>Applicants are generally expected to demonstrate the following:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Internationally exhibited or published design work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regular professional activity within the last 5 years<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Media visibility or international projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"design-industry-basvurularinda-gerekli-belgeler\">Documents required for Design Industry applications<\/h2>\n\n<p>The basic documents that must be submitted as part of the application are:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A <strong>detailed CV<\/strong> showing professional career<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Three reference letters<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>There is an important rule for reference letters:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least<strong> two references <\/strong>must come from reputable organisations in the field of design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>At least one of these organisations<\/strong> must be based in the United Kingdom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>The third reference can be obtained from a recognised institution or individual in the sector.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"design-pathway-hangi-alanlari-kapsayabilir\">Which areas can the Design pathway cover?<\/h2>\n\n<p>The new design endorsement route is expected to increase applications particularly in the following areas:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Product design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Industrial design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience \/ service design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Creative technology and design innovation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>These areas can create significant opportunities, particularly for professionals working at the intersection of technology, architecture and creative industries.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"akademik-fast-track-basvurularinda-degisiklik\">Changes to academic fast-track applications<\/h2>\n\n<p>The new regulations also introduce some technical clarifications for academic Global Talent applications.<\/p>\n\n<p>Specifically, for research fast-track applications:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>it must be demonstrated that the academic position applied for requires a<strong> PhD or equivalent research experience<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the applicant&#8217;s role must primarily<strong> involve research or innovation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>&#8211;<\/p>\n\n<p>These changes aim to clarify the assessment of applications, particularly for <strong>researcher and academic leadership positions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"settlement-icin-ingilizce-sarti-yukseliyor\">English language requirement for settlement is increasing<\/h2>\n\n<p>Under the new regulations, the required English language level for settlement applications under the Global Talent route is also being increased.<\/p>\n\n<p>According to the new rules:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>From 26 March 2027, the minimum English language level for settlement applications will be B2.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>Under the current system,<strong> this level was B1.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>This change will apply not only to Global Talent but to many immigration routes.<\/p>\n\n<p>Therefore, applicants aiming for permanent residence in the UK, especially in the long term, will <strong>need to prepare their language proficiency to a higher level.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"genel-degerlendirme\">Overall Assessment<\/h2>\n\n<p>The new regulations highlight two key trends in the Global Talent route:<\/p>\n\n<ul
