Provided the person meets the necessary requirements, they can apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) after 3 or 5 years.
Although this does not directly make the visa a “lifetime” visa, it makes it one of the strongest routes to the right of long-term settlement in the UK.
ILR status provides the right to reside and work in the UK permanently; however, it should not be confused with citizenship.

A Truly “Talent”-Focused System

Unlike other visa types, the Global Talent programme does not require a salary, a job offer or a sponsor. The assessment is based on the person’s output, portfolio and impact on their field. For this reason, the programme opens doors particularly for professionals working independently in the creative sectors.

Artists, academics, researchers, software developers, designers and directors: all of them may become eligible to apply for this visa when they prove that they have made an impact on an international scale in their own field.

The Most Selective Route of Talent-Based Migration

Global Talent is not a “lifetime visa”, but a settlement system based on long-term success and stability. Through this programme, the UK aims to increase cultural, scientific and technological productivity and to bring creative minds to the country on a global scale.
As part of this strategy, the 52 visa approvals from Türkiye also show that the country’s presence in the international creative ecosystem is growing steadily stronger.

The Global Talent Visa, which has recently been in the news as a “lifetime visa”, is in fact one of the most selective and prestigious programmes run by the UK to attract world-class talent in the creative, academic and technological fields.

[81

post-3145","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-blog-en
["GET
